Our aunt, a former Chester Park K. teacher use to say, “The Simple Words of Children are The Real Poems To Me.” I felt that way at the Easter Egg Hunt. The little kids loved finding the plastic eggs and turning their egg in for a bag of candy. They could also turn in plastic eggs for face painting or to play a game. The traditions of the Easter season are the joy of children, the look on their faces, the words, the happiness they feel when they find an egg, getting a bag, a picture painted on their face, or to play a game and win a prize.
