Copy Machines Store Confidential Data

I saw a CBS News Video on Copy Machines, a Security Risk. These large copy machines in businesses and non-profits hold a hard drive that scans confidential information. This information can have your personal data, and you could be at risk. It can effect your privacy. The copied document is scanned directly onto this chip and the ramifications of this could be great. This chip or data base is not removed from these copy machines.

What about doctors offices, the police department, police invesitgations, banks, school records, bank information, social security offices, investigation offices?

Pretty scary, isn’t it?
