There was a very interesting article in the Duluth News Tribune about asking the expert. It was titled, “Employers could be liable for knowledge of illegal conduct.” It sparked my eyes since we know people who spam people, send them bad e-mails. You can trace it to their work source. Who ever heard of non-profits getting various bogus IP addresses to spam people?
Maybe some of these employers will look what their employees are doing. It’s illegal to harass others, send out sexual e-mails, and the list goes on. If you don’t know what your employees are doing, it is about time you check into it. The employer is just as liable.
