There will be a memory ceremony on three young African Aemrican men who were innocent victims of mob violence in Duluth. On Tuesday, June 15th, they will remember and honor Elias Clayton, Elmer Jackson and Isaac McGhie.
There will be a March Through Duluth at 5:30 P.M. People will gather at Minnesota Power Plaza, located at the SW corner of Lake AVenue and Superior St. There will be a Wreath Laying at the old Duluth Police Station located at 126 East Superior St. at approximately 5:50 P.M. At 6:00 P.M. there will be a Observatnce at the Memorial located at the Clayton Jackson McGhie Memorial, the corner of First Street and Second Avenue East. Music and a reflection will take place.
The speakers will be Susana Pelayo-Woodwood and a Welcome by City Councilor Kerry Gauthier.
