Drug Courts

The Drug Courts puts out a great newsletter called, “For The Record.” The sixth judidical district speciality court is working on saving lives and changing systems. To be on their mailing list call 218-302-6207.  This month they talk about their partner profile, The Fond du Lac Reservation, the ten key components to drug courts, the city of Duluth bans synthetic marijuna, and saying goodbye to Amy Lukasavitz to private practice. Jenny Tahtinen is joining the drug court team.

Call Jenny or Brian to find out how you can help through monetary donations to defray the costs of UA’s, Cog Skill classes, electronic monitoring, and treatment expenses. They also need incentives that they need such as bus passes, food cards, tickets to sporting events, attraction ticketes, mentors, housing, employment, community serice opportunities, assistant with interview and resume writing training,  they need speakers and team members. You can make a difference. Talking or writing supportive letters for drug court funding and substaining programs is also important.
