Saving Teaching Jobs in Minnesota

Oberstar’s recent newsletter tells how 2,400 Minnesota teaching jobs will be saved through 166 million dollars that was given by the Federal government/Department of Education to keep classes low and retain teaching jobs in Minnesota. How that will translate in Duluth is yet to be known. Duluth laid of many teachers last spring. Will those teachers come back? Can the money be used for new buildings instead of teachers salaries and programs?
