-sounds too good to be true
-they want you to act immediately
-guarantees you success
-promises you high rates of return
-buyer want you to overpay you for an item
-doesn’t apopear to be from a real business
-doesn’t feel right
Also, don’t click links in e-mail, just type them in your browser.
Remember your bank will not e-mail you or call you about your account number.
Always check out a company with the Better Business Bureau.
Foreign lotteries are illegal.
Check your bank statements for charges.
Order a copy of each of your credit statements for the national credit bureaus once a year.
Report online fraud to:
Shred all important documents, credit card statements,etc.
