Before The Glenwood Construction Begins: “The Famous Faith Lutheran Church Rummage Sale.” We didn’t have one last year but we had them all the other years.
We will have our famous Outdoor Grill serving brats, hot dogs and hot pretzels. Outdoors will be more than the Man’s Cave of stuff. Book cases, furniture and lots of stuff for the Woman’s Cave as well. This is all the large stuff or small stuff depending on how you look at it.
We have moved everything around this year. Don’t forget to buy some small starter plants upstairs; there’s plenty to be purchased. There are two tables of collectible antique. Book Sale, children’s books, adult books, old records, vases, CD’s, tapes, jewlery, paintings, framed items are upstairs.
Take the evlevator or stairs. Downstairs is household, children’s items, baby clothes, men’s, women’s, teen clothing, holiday decor, crafts, the bake sale, bedding, and much more.
The sale will be upstairs, downstairs and outside as other years. The same happy faces laughing and selling. No, we have not kissed the Blarney Stone. We are just happy go lucky people.
Saturday, March 26th from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. at Faith Lutheran Church located at 51st Ave. West and Glenwood St. We will have the lights on just for you. Don’t forget to buy some coffee and baked goods. We have so many baked goods this year that they are all in a special room.
Remember all our other sales, well this should be bigger and better. We have spent the week getting ready for it.
Swing up the “3rd Annual Treasures of the Earth Green Goods Craft and Art Sale” at the Unitarian Church at 835 W. College Street when you are done. This sale is from 10-3 p.m, on March 26th. You will be inspired at the natural made items, recycled and reused objects, photography and art work from over 25 artists.
