The Fair Farm Kickoff Meeting is this Wednesday, September 21st at 6:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. It’s at the Whole Foods Co-op located at 610 E. 4th Street. Refreshments will be provided.
Right now our country’s food system is broken. A few large companies, like Cargill and Monsanto, control every part of our food system, squeezing consumers and driving out small and middle sized farmers.
We all have the right to safe, healthy food.
This year, we have a chance to make sure the USA implements, the 2008 Fair Farm Rules, which level the playing field for small and middle-sized farmers, giving consumers access to safer, more sustainable food.
Right now, Senator Amy Kolobuchar is on the fence on this issue. We need your help to make sure she stands up to big agri-business and supports the small farmers, consumers and environment.
Come to the Fair Farms Campaign Kickoff Meeing to learn how you can become invovled. All are welcome. Bring your family, friends, and interested parties.
