A special thank you to all the gifted people that donated their talents and time to be part of this project.  Proceeds from the sale of this CD will go to the Bluebird Foundation, Inc.  whose mission statement is: “to be an advocate for area youth in the performing arts and to create awareness of the power for the arts to enhance self-esteem, to increase understanding of others and to improve academic performance.”  Thank you to the late Audrey Lundeen for providing the inspiration and guidance to make the Bluebird fly.

Duluth, MN…… Sales for A Christmas by the Lake- Volume VII, featuring  26 songs by musicians from throughout the region,  are nearly 70% of goal as of today.  “We hoped this year would  be good with all the new contributors and so much great music” said Tracy Lundeen, producer of the CD.  The CD sells for $12 each at area Super One Foods (Customer Service Counters), Pam’s Hallmark in the Miller Hill Mall, Big Daddy’s Burgers, Holiday Spirit of the Lights on Park Point  and on-line at

Christmas by the Lake  proceeds are benefitting the Bluebird Foundation this year. Tracy Lundeen announced the formation of Bluebird, an organization dedicated to helping youth arts in our area through financial assistance and advocacy last summer at his company’s 40th anniversary celebration. In his announcement speech Lundeen said:  “Giving kids the gift of the arts is truly a gift that will last a lifetime. A gift of calm during storms and peace during times of troubles. The arts are truly a gift that will always keep on giving. There will be times when the Bluebird will be an advocate, a strong voice for the arts, and there will be times when the Bluebird will help financially to give kids the opportunity to develop special artistic talents. There is no doubt that the arts can help with kids academic performances and self-esteem.”
