Christmas by the Lake proceeds are benefitting the Bluebird Foundation this year. Tracy Lundeen announced the formation of Bluebird, an organization dedicated to helping youth arts in our area through financial assistance and advocacy last summer at his company’s 40th anniversary celebration. In his announcement speech Lundeen said: “Giving kids the gift of the arts is truly a gift that will last a lifetime. A gift of calm during storms and peace during times of troubles. The arts are truly a gift that will always keep on giving. There will be times when the Bluebird will be an advocate, a strong voice for the arts, and there will be times when the Bluebird will help financially to give kids the opportunity to develop special artistic talents. There is no doubt that the arts can help with kids academic performances and self-esteem.”
All proceeds from the Christmas by the Lake will go to the foundation. Check out their facebook page to discover more about the foundation at www.facebook.com/bluebirdfoundation.
